I am Dr Khwezi Nyewe a psychologist practicing in Guguletu, Cape Town. 

My training and work experience includes providing assessments (Career choice, Neurological & Psychoeducational) and psychotherapy to children, adolescents and families, relationship difficulties and conflict, divorce, traumatic life events and grief. I have work experience at Stellenbosch University Child Guidance Clinic, Cape Peninsula University of Technology student Counseling, Khayelitsha School Clinic, Crescent Medi-clinic in Claremont, and Summit Clinic in Wynberg. I obtained a PhD in Child Psychology, which is a special interest of mine. Other interests include trauma counselling. 

Therapy can be conducted in both Xhosa and English. I use a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, non-judgemental approach to create a safe environment for my clients to explore their inner most thoughts, emotions and fears. My approach is insight driven working toward self-awareness and building a life that you feel comfortable and safe in. I offer both Online Therapy and in-person Psychotherapy for adults and adolescents, and Psychological Assessments. I also see groups for workshops on various topics.
