MD Physiotherapy aspires to assist patients to be free from injury and to reach an optimal level of physical well-being, treating all areas of the body be it the back, neck, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee or ankle.

Micaela has been practicing in private practice in sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy for over 10 years treating patients with various sports injuries, and she especially enjoys post-operative orthopaedic cases. She has a special interest in team sports and has treated many patients who enjoy soccer, rugby, hockey, as well as horse riding where the combination of horse and rider are closely considered.

She prides herself in providing dedicated, indivualised, initial assessments of 1 hour, and 45 minute follow-ups thereafter, with the aim to get her patients back to their daily activities with a very “hands on” and rehab based approach as she believes this is essential for best results. Depending on the condition Micaela combines kinesio taping, electrotherapy, muscle stimulation or dry needling to the treatment.
