This is a specialist opthalmology practice that is based at the West Rand Eye Centre in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Dr Bhavesh Vallabh has more than 10 years of experience treating a wide variety of eye conditions.

Prior to moving into private practice he has worked in the academic sector as a specialist consultant on the University of Witwatersrand circuit for four years.

There he headed the Corneal clinic and assisted in the running of the Glaucoma clinic. He was also involved in the training of many new ophthalmologists and was involved in supervising them at Masters level. 

He has a special interest in cataract surgery, glaucoma, corneal conditions (like keratoconus and cross-linking), diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
