  • About Anuschka

True Colours is dedicated to diversity empowerment. Respecting and appreciating what makes people different. This includes their gender, disability, sexual orientation, and education. In a world where much is acceptable, there are still individuals and groups, that are excluded and live in fear and isolation. True Colours vision is to create a safe space for those who are part of, is allies or supporters of these communities, focussing on the LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse and disability communities.

Our approach in creating this safe space is by embracing identity as a process of self-empowerment and self-discovery. It involves acknowledging all aspects of who you are, irrespective of who you are, trusting your intuition, accepting where you are, and defining yourself by your innate and unique qualities. And then helping you to practically navigate life, true to your colours, shining your light bright.

True Colours acknowledge that both adults and children in these communities, have equal value but diverse and very specific needs. We define adults as members, parents, family members, friends, employers, co-workers, and educators. Children is defined – for the purpose of our service provision- as members, children of members, siblings, friends, children of allies, and other children at school and extramural activities.
