  • About Nadia Farrah

Welcome to the exciting world of Orthodontics!

This opportunity is open to patients of all ages.
    DID YOU KNOW??
    • it is recommended that the first orthodontic check up be at age 7 years of age (American Association of Orthodontists (www.aao.org)
    • First Phase (Phase I) orthodontics recognizes developing problems and employs an interceptive approach within a defined period of time and this can reduce (or even eliminate) the period of Phase II orthodontics
    • Consultation for Full Phase Orthodontics for adolescents should ideally be sought when the last set of 'baby' molar teeth are still present in the mouth.
    • Adult orthodontic treatment is very common these days and absolutely socially acceptable. Whether a full course of treatment; preparative work for the restorative dentist; correction of tooth position for optimum or improved (periodontal/ gum and supporting tissues , ie, bone ) health; preparatory orthodontics for orthognathic surgery; or just plain AESTHETICS!!
    • Braces are not only silver anymore either! We now have clear brackets, transparent plastic shells/ aligners (case specific); lingual braces (braces in the inner aspect of the teeth) and white arch wires available to us.
WE WELCOME ANY QUERIES YOU MIGHT HAVE AND LOOK FORWARD TO HELPING YOU REALISE YOUR BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY SMILE

Beautiful office - very contemporary and clean. Great and friendly staff. Dr.Thompson has been accommodating with our busy schedule of three kids. So far the teeth are straightening really nicely.
